I wonder who took the cookie dough bowl.

When Elliot was little he reminded us of a little hobbit child...

New Year

The first morning of the new year, Elliot came into my room. He was looking cute and I rolled over to kiss him. My kiss was derailed by an accidental headbutt from him which led to my nose bleeding and much pain. Not a great way to start the year, I thought. Luckily the rest of the day was much better than the beginning.

Setting goals or resolutions always makes me want to fight against them so I trick myself by using the word "intentions" instead. It's a good thing I'm so easy to trick. So here a few of my New Years' Intentions....

1. Get savings back in order.

2. Become a highly skilled ninja.

3. Stock up on new tattoos and maybe a new piercing or two. I'm disappointed in myself for getting NO tattoos last year. If I plan on getting more of my body tattooed than not, I really need to get busy!

4. I hate sewing but I want to be able to sew better so I hope to make a couple things that are a wee bit more complex than receiving blankets.

5. Using my ninja skills, take over China, India, and Tasmania.

I asked Daniel what his New Years' Intentions are but 30 minutes later I realized I hadn't listened to a word he said. So here is what I came up with for Daniel's New Years' Intentions.

1. Keep the house spotless 24/7 (this includes the car too).

2. Increase the number of editing projects I am working on but decrease the amount of time it takes me to do them.

3. Become the president of China, India, and Tasmania before Rose becomes a Ninja to aid in her coup.

4. Stop eating food off the floor or food that has been previously chewed by a child and then spit out.

5. Invent a device to make the kids sleep from 7pm to 10am.

Kitchen

It's amazing how difficult it can be to take a picture of EVERYONE looking at the camera.

Finally I got one of everyone at least looking in the general direction of the camera.
